CRADLE OF FILTH - CRUELTY AND THE BEAST (1998)

Obra conceptual basada en la historia de la condesa húngara Erzsébet Báthory, que vivió en el siglo XVI corriendo en sus venas el inmemorial gen de la crueldad de la sangre noble transilvana. Fue apodada como “la condesa sangrienta” por mandar apresar, torturar y desangrar a multitud de jóvenes campesinas para bañarse en su sangre, con el fin de rejuvenecer. Bajo la impunidad que le brindaban los gruesos y fríos muros de su remoto castillo de Csejte, enclavado en la sombría cordillera de los Cárpatos, su locura por el fluido de la vida no conoció fronteras. El número y sadismo de sus crímenes la llevan hoy a ser catalogada como el primer asesino en serie conocido de la historia de la Humanidad. El álbum es el tercero de larga duracion de los británicos, Cradle Of Filth, lanzado el 27 abril de 1997, bajo el sello discográfico Music for Nations. DISCO RECOMENDADO!!!
