Cradle Of Filth es una banda británica fundada por el vocalista Dani Filth. La banda ha experimentado con varios estilos a lo largo de su historia como el death metal, symphonic Black Metal y el Gothic Metal. En 1994 la banda hace su debut oficial con su primer álbum de larga duración con un genero Black Metal pero con tintes death Metal. La temática de la banda no se enfoco al satanismo como muchas bandas lo hicieron mas bien se enfocaron en poemas romanticos de  poetas ingleses.  El Vocalista Dani Filth tiene un estilo particular de cantar combina growls de espeluznante agudeza con graves de ultratumba.
