RHAPSODY OF FIRE - THE COLD EMBRACE OF FEAR - A DARK ROMANTIC SYMPHONY [EP] (2010)

El 15 de octubre de 2010 salió a la venta el EP llamado "The Cold Embrace Of Fear - A Dark Romantic Symphony" la cual consiste en una única canción de 35 minutos dividida en 7 actos en donde se puede apreciar el lado cinematográfico que inspira las obras de la banda, además de incluir narraciones y partes habladas. Una característica del disco es que estará directamente relacionado con la obra de The Frozen Tears Of Angels. Cabe destacar el ACT III - The Ancient Fires Of Har-Kuun, como una verdadera obra maestra de la banda, el disco se centra en ese acto de 14 min.

Octavo album de larga duración de la banda italiana de Symphonic Power Metal, Rhapsody Of Fire. El album tiene por titulo "The Frozen Tears of Angels", lanzado el 30 de abril de 2010, bajo el sello discográfico Nuclear Blast. Después del "Triumph or Agony" que  no termino de convencerme lanzan este album que me parece muy técnico instrumentalmente. Posee unos veloces riffs, sonido de flautas variadas y la voz de Fabio Lione que le inpregna calidad a cada cancion. Mis temas favoritos son: "Sea of Fate" y "Raging Starfire". DISCO RECOMENDADO!!!
